The gap nobody teaches

Being Good at Music Is Only Part of Being a Working Musician

You can be more than capable on stage and still struggle to create reliable work around that ability.

01

The gigs are inconsistent

You rely on luck, incoming messages or the same few contacts, without a repeatable way to create more opportunities.

02

Your value is hard to see

Your photos, video, offer or online presence do not yet make it obvious why a venue, client or bandleader should choose you.

03

The business is being improvised

Pricing, follow-up, bookings, admin and growth are handled one decision at a time instead of through a professional system.

The working-musician flywheel

My Method for Finding What to Improve Next

I created the Working Musician Flywheel to identify the weakest part of your music career and focus first on what will move your immediate goals forward. Each time we work through the cycle, we make practical improvements, go deeper and level up again.

The goal is to become the kind of musician people want to hire, recommend and book again.

The Accelerator framework

Six Areas That Shape a Working Music Career

During the call, we will use my six-part method, the Working Musician Flywheel, to find where your progress is getting stuck and decide which improvements could make the greatest difference right now.

1

Performance & Professional Readiness

What gets you hired? Repertoire, setup, confidence, stagecraft, reliability and the practical standard required for the gigs you want.

2

Positioning

Why do people choose you? Your offer, photos, video, bio, brand, formats and the signals that make you easier to trust and book.

3

Visibility & Opportunity

Who needs to know you? The venues, clients, agencies and musicians who can create the right opportunities.

4

Reputation & Rebooking

What gets you rebooked? The full experience that creates residencies, repeat work, reviews, referrals and lasting relationships.

5

Business Operations

What keeps the business running? Quotes, contracts, deposits, invoices, client information, follow-up and everyday systems.

6

Income Growth

What grows your music income? Better rates, stronger packages, additional formats, more capacity and deliberate reinvestment.

Built by a working musician

I Had to Learn the Career Side of Music the Hard Way

I started in original bands, managing tours, arranging radio interviews, marketing releases and even securing a small-label record deal. We played national tours and international shows, but I was not building reliable income from music.

Everything changed when I began working with experienced cover musicians. I went from playing one gig every few weeks to regular weekends, weddings and events, then worked as a session drummer across more than twelve established bands.

When COVID disrupted the band I relied on, I built my own path as a frontman and business owner. That meant learning how to sell the act, win bookings, read rooms, manage clients, build multiple performance formats and keep the calendar moving.

I am not a touring superstar, and I am not here to teach you how to become famous. I am a working musician who learned how to make being a working musician actually work.

Who this is for

You Do Not Need to Have It All Figured Out. You Do Need to Be Ready to Build.

This opportunity is for musicians who can already perform and want to become more deliberate about the career and business around their music.

This may be a strong fit if you...

  • Can already perform, but your paid work is inconsistent
  • Gig regularly but still feel like you are winging the business side
  • Want better gigs, stronger rates or more repeat work
  • Are willing to act on a focused next-step plan
  • Will work through the upcoming course and provide honest feedback

This is probably not for you if you...

  • Need beginner instrument or vocal lessons
  • Are looking for a shortcut to fame or guaranteed income
  • Already run a highly developed entertainment business
  • Only want free resources and do not intend to participate
  • Cannot attend the initial call or provide follow-up feedback
